GREENVILLE, SC – A private pesticide applicator training is scheduled for Friday, Feb.29, from 9:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. at the Greenville County Extension office, Greenville County Square, 301 University Ridge, Suite 4300, Greenville, SC.      

 

This certification is for private pesticide applicators. However, if you need a commercial pesticide applicator’s license, please contact the Department of Pesticide Regulation at 864-646-2150 or your local extension office for details.

 

The cost of taking the private pesticide applicator certification is $50. Several video tapes will be reviewed with questions and answers, and then an exam will follow.

 

Classes will be limited to the first 25 people to register. Pre-registration is required and non-refundable. A minimum of 10 people is required to conduct certification training.
