GREENVILLE, SC – Whole Foods Market, a participant in the South Carolina Department of Agriculture's Certified SC Grown program, invites shoppers to drop by for their Market Day event featuring South Carolina Specialty Foods. The event will be held at Whole Foods, 1140 Woodruff Road in Greenville, SC, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2007.
Members of the South Carolina Specialty Food Association will offer samples of their unique and delightfully different home grown and/or processed products. Jackie Moore, SC Department of Agriculture Marketing Specialist, says, “If you don’t see South Carolina products on the shelves, ‘Ask For South Carolina. Nothing’s fresher. Nothing’s finer.’”
The South Carolina Specialty Food Producers Association is a non-profit organization of businesses and individuals whose purpose is the promotion of specialty food products produced in South Carolina. Membership in the South Carolina Specialty Food Producers Association is open to any individual who is interested and/or involved in the specialty food industry.
