COLUMBIA – The S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control will hold an open house at its new Horry County Public Health Department in Conway on April 7 at 2 p.m., the agency announced today.
“We’re inviting everyone to come see our new facility off Highway 701 on Industrial Park Road northwest of Conway,” said Covia L. Stanley, M.D., director of DHEC’s Region 6 Public Health office which includes Georgetown, Horry and Williamsburg counties. “The facility has allowed us to serve our clients and customers more efficiently at one location. Previously, services were offered at four different locations around Conway.”
Stanley said tours of the facility will be offered as a way to highlight National Public Health Week after a short ceremony on April 7.
