Medical Management Facility to Open in Beaufort

Columbia, SC -  CareCore National, LLC. has announced the construction of a new office building in the May River Technical Park in Bluffton. The company, which provides utilization management and quality assurance of medical diagnostic imaging services for major health plans, will construct a 45,000 square-foot facility to house a call center and executive and information technology offices. The facility is due to open in the fourth quarter of 2007. CareCore has existing facilities in Hardeeville, South Carolina and in Wappingers Falls, New York and Colorado Springs, Colorado.

“South Carolina’s attractive business climate and attractive quality of life were key components in CareCore’s decision to expand our company’s operations in South Carolina,” said Donald R. Ryan, CareCore’s CEO and Chairman of the Board. “We considered a number of other states and existing CareCore locations for this expansion, but our success in attracting talented people, the willingness of the local and state officials to work with us and the educational resources of USC-Beaufort and the Technical College of the Lowcountry made Beaufort County the ideal choice for us.
