Press Release:

As part of the comprehensive security upgrade around the Capitol Complex, the Pendleton Street entrance and exit to the McEachern Parking Facility under the State House grounds will be closed for approximately three weeks beginning Monday December 3.  Workers will be installing barriers and control arm gates that will keep unauthorized users from entering the garage when the enhanced security system is implemented early next year.

To help ease traffic flow, two doors on Assembly Street that have not typically been in use will be opened during the construction period. Parking staff also recommend that drivers use the tunnel entrance on Senate Street in the Vista near the convention center. You can get to this entrance by turning onto Park Street from Gervais Street and then taking a left onto Senate Street.

We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience
