Press Release:

Columbia, S.C.—The South Carolina Confederate Relic Room and Military Museum will be closed Tuesday, July 10, 2007 through Monday, July 30, 2007 due to expansion construction.  Museum staff will be available by appointment during this time.  The museum will reopen on Tuesday, July 31, 2007.

It will include several forgotten aspects of the war, such as the African-American 371st Regiment.

The museum’s regular hours of operation are Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00AM-5:00PM and the first Sunday of each month from 1:00PM-5:00PM.  Admission is $4.00 ages 21 and over. Visitors younger than 21 are free.
