In January 2010, the American Library Association (ALA) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Investor Education Foundation awarded $87,300 to the Georgetown County Library – through the Friends of the Georgetown Library organization – as part of the national “Smart investing @ your library®” program.
